One Month!
Wow, has it really been a month already? One month ago today, we welcomed our little Paxton into our arms and into this world. We were two kids who didnt have a clue what was about to happen to our lives. Now we're two parents who take care of a sweet little angel fresh from Heaven. Sometimes I look at my little baby and wonder if he remembers. I know most people will say that babies cant, but I like to think Paxton remembers his little brothers and sisters that he left behind.(he's not too happy that his daddy laid him in the cold leaves!)
Pax was born 7lbs 3oz and today, just one month later. he weighs in at a whoppin 11lbs! We weighed that sucker today and he was an even 11. I cant believe he's put on nearly 4 pounds already. His cheeks are so round and fat and I swear he has about 4 chins. What once were scrawny little lizard legs are now chunky little baby legs. He's been spending more time awake and exploring the world with his cute little eyes. He's developed a cute little grunt that he makes only when he's eating and he's started smiling, though mostly only when he's falling asleep. He loves to be swaddled all snug and safe but the second his hands are able, they are up by his head.
Every day is something new. We learn things about him and about eachother. We're a family now and I love absolutely every second of it. The past month has gone by SO fast and I feel like the next 18 years are going to fly by as well. That thought scares me a little but I decided that I need to enjoy this ride and soak in every ounce of it I can. I love you Paxton, happy one-month birthday! (compare the last picture on this post with the first and you'll see how much fat this kid is accumulating!)

The years WILL fly by. You are wise to understand that from the start.
He just gets cuter, doesn't he?
